Bio: Newcomer Jace has just come into care, so it’s early days yet. So far he is very social with other dogs but is so eager to play that he doesn’t always read their cues. Jace was so excited upon leaving the pound after two weeks of confinement, that he was jumping all over us in joy!
He has calmed down a bit and is loving snuggling on the couch, but is also willing to run laps in the yard all day if he has the right buddy to do it with…throwing toys in the air and retrieving balls. He knows sit, lay down, and is quite gentle with his mouth especially around little ones.
He really wants to play with the cats but doesn’t understand why they run when he comes at them really fast. He knows his name and pays attention when whistled/ called for as long as nothing is tempting him too much. Weighing in at 93lbs, Jace is an xl bundle of energetic love!
